Sundre's Summer Farmers' Markets: Last Chance to Enjoy Fresh Finds

As summer winds down, there’s still time to savor the best of the season at Sundre's local farmers' markets. Whether you’re after farm-fresh produce, homemade treats, or unique artisanal goods, Sundre and nearby Bergen have you covered.

Sundre Farmers’ Market: A Friday Tradition

Located at the Sundre Curling Club on 2nd Avenue NW, right across from Sundre High School, the Sundre Farmers’ Market runs every Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. through September 20. Though most markets are indoors, be sure to note that the September 6 market will move outside due to the annual community fall fair being hosted in the curling rink.

Bergen Farmers’ Market: A Scenic Saturday Getaway

Just a short drive from Sundre, the Bergen Farmers’ Market offers an outdoor shopping experience at the Bergen Community Hall. Held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. until September 14, this market is a perfect weekend outing. Head south on Highway 760, then west on Township Road 320 to reach the market, where you’ll find an inviting array of local goods.

New on the Scene: West Side Pop-Up Market

This summer introduced a new addition to the local market scene—the West Side Pop-Up Market. Running until September 5, this market is set up on the green space near the Town of Sundre office, just south of Highway 27. With its convenient location along a multi-use path, it’s easily accessible for visitors passing through or locals enjoying a walk or bike ride.

Don’t miss out on these opportunities to support local vendors and take home some truly special finds before the markets wrap up for the season.
